After One Fine Day, Mae Whitman went on to appear in several movies, including Hope Floats (1998), The Gingerbread Man (1998), and An American Rhapsody (2001). She has also made guest appearances on several tv shows, including "Chicago Hope" (1999), "JAG" (2001), and "Arrested Development" (2005-2006).
