After Matilda, Pam Ferris went on to appear in several movies, including Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004) and Gladiatress (2004). She has also appeared as Laura Thyme on the tv show "Rosemary & Thyme" (2003-2006). She has just finished a new movie and is currently working on a tv miniseries called "Jane Eyre".
