After Anne of Green Gables, Richard Farnsworth went on to appear in several movies, including Misery (1990), Highway to Hell (1992), Lassie (1994), and The Straight Story (1999). He also made guest appearances on a few tv shows, including "Highway to Heaven" (1987) and "The Boys of Twilight" (1992). Sadly, Richard committed suicide on October 6, 2000.
